At the Heath Creek Rest Area off I35 northbound north of Faribault two miles before the Northfield exit. As only one geocache or letterbox is allowed at MN/DOT rest areas and cachers need to stretch their legs too this is a hybrid. Find the informational sign near the rest rooms. From there, you'll need to follow written directions, which are given below.

The Movie. Speaking of boxing, "Million Dollar Baby" is a story about a boxing manager training a woman to be the best she can be. More deeply it deals with youth v. age, talent v. hope, ambition v. honesty, and loyalty v. opportunity.

Best Areas The movie won four Academy Awards (2004) for Best Movie, Best Director (Clint Eastwood), Best Actress (Hilary Swank) and Best Supporting Actor (Morgan Freeman).

Rest Areas When the interstate highway system was built in the 1950's and 60's it was a great boost for local companies who subcontracted in building the roads as well as the rest areas. Because of the costs and relative luxury of the restrooms compared to previous facilities along the highways, they were dubbed "million dollar outhouses" or "million dollar babies".

Directions to the letterbox Find the sign post near the restrooms where you can read about the early development of the flour mills in the vicinity. From the post head north by northwest on the paths on the right side of the parking lot. When you come to the penultimate table on the right cross over to the left to the last table on the left avoiding any autos exiting the lot. Near the table is a tree with a large scar on its north side. Tucked in the edge of the scar is the small container.

F(T)F Award $1,000,000 bill.

This letterbox is in compliance with the MN/DOT Rest Area Geocache/Letterbox Policy.
