Find your way to Mission Tejas State Park, pay the $2 entrance fee, and follow the park road to the pond. Park, and walk across the spillway and dam. Follow the trail on the far side of the pond until you come to a long footbridge. Stop at the steps to the footbridge, turn around and walk back 30 steps from the bridge. Stop and look off the trail to your right (away from the pond) toward a tree stump about 4' tall with a holly bush at its base, near a tall pine. The box is hidden at the base of the stump in the holly. (Note from a finder: the stump is gone. And the box had been moved. I returned it close to where you had it. Just back an additional 4 steps off the trail to a sweet gum tree. The box is behind at the base inside a root shelter! Thanks, great box, NLW -- Thanks, NLW -- Viewfinder!) Please rehide the box carefully.
