This is our first box we’ve placed, we hope you enjoy it and the park. It is a tribute to the frog that joined us on our first day of hunting for boxes. A little green tree frog hopped on our windshield and hung on, riding with us for miles.

Go to the playground at North Park in Denham Springs: take US Highway 190 thru Denham Springs and turn left on Eden Church Road (just past our favorite fire station and library), or take I-12 to Juban Rd, left on Hwy 190, right on Eden Church Rd. Follow the road and turn right into North Park between the chain link gate, after the “North Park PARDS” sign. Drive across the little bridge. When you see the back of the baseball stadium on the right – turn left toward the playground. When the road runs out, park your car in the lot.

Walk from the parking lot to the place with 3 wooden bridges.
Cross the first bridge you come to.
Continue west on the sidewalk…
…past the frog (this isn’t the frog you seek)…
…past the dog…
You’re almost halfway there now.

Climb the black and yellow steps and slide down to the west –
or just follow the sidewalk around.

Swing, write in the sand, and climb the wall
– or just follow the sidewalk around.
Either way, head to the tree in the west that’s tall.
Leave the sidewalk at the bench, head to that tree behind it.
The frog makes his home in the left side of the hole at the base of the tree.

Park hours are 7am - 10pm. The playground is often crowded. Please be careful of attention when stamping, and tuck it back in all the way when rehiding. Thanks and enjoy the playground.

3/22/09 Box and stamp were missing. Found bag with log only. I will replace as soon as possible and update this listing.
