*****Update as of August 20, 2010: The area in which the box is planted does not appear to be maintained any longer by DVC and has become extremely overgrown. It does not appear that the box is accessable, except for possibly in the fall, winter or every early spring. I will recheck the box come fall to see if it can be recovered and possibly relocated.*****

Originally planted by The Honeybee. Adopted by Wednesday Bowler and Celtic Cat January 2008. Log book and box replaced 1-27-08. Clues updated 2-2-08.

Enter from the Route 202.
Welcome to Delaware Valley College! and The Henry Schmieder Arboretum, which is located at the college and is open for public admission at no charge. Arboretum and grounds are open daily from dawn until dusk. Visitors should check-in at our Security Office, located by the College's main Route 202 entrance upon arrival. Guided tours are available by appointment only. Call for information and fee. Greenhouses are only open on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4 PM.
From the main lot, walk directly to the student center. Stand as if you were going to give a speech to the people sitting on the cement seats (the cement will give you the clue to the best spot) - now speak - cool huh? Once you have had your fun turn right and walk between Barness and Work Gym. Proceed straight till you are between Ulman Hall on your left and Segal Hall on your right. Proceed straight – Find the building with the Mercer Tile under the name and 1924 will lead you in the right direction. Make a left into the Hillman Family Garden and stop and rest on the benches and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Proceed through garden to the 3-trunk tree and follow the path to your left. The greenhouse should be on your right. At the T intersection turn right. Turn left at the Silver Maple into the formal herb garden. Stop and enjoy all the wonderful smells in the center of the garden. Choose the archway that will lead you through a wooded walk, and at the T intersection turn left soon to be followed by a quick right. Once you reach the asphalt site 68 degrees and proceed towards a small white utility building. Before reaching this building walk between the arms guarding the walkway on your right. Go down until you see a small gazebo at the edge of Lake Archer. From the center of the gazebo site 200 degrees, and go to a large stump. Once at the stump site 160 degrees and take 25 paces to find My Alma Mater.
