The town of Three Rivers is home to the hottest festival in South Texas: the Salsa Festival. Local salsa chefs vie for the title of "Salsa Champion" while everyone enjoys live music, food, and games for kids. It is held every April in the City Hall Square and admission is free. So come see why some like it hot, and look for this box located nearby at Tips State Recreation Area.

Directions:
Three Rivers is located 75 miles south of San Antonio and 75 miles north of Corpus Christi on Hwy 281. Tips State Recreation Area is 1 mile west of town on the left side of Hwy 72 heading toward Choke Canyon. Park by the restrooms.

Clues:
Walk to the river and turn left, following along the bank past the dam and under Hwy 72. Continue to the telephone pole nearest the river with a green stake next to it. Continue upstream 30 steps to a dirt mound. Turn left and walk about 5 steps to a double-trunk tree. Microbox is hanging on the back side 4 feet high. The box is a pill container and is permanently attached to the tree, so remove the top by pushing down while turning counter-clockwise. When replacing the top, make sure to screw it on all the way and check to make sure it doesn't come off if you lift up on it.
