Directions: From New Hampshire, get off Route 93 North on to Route 213 East. From 213 get off on to Route 28 South. Drive South on Route 28 for about a ¼ mile and then turn left onto Pleasant Street at the Methuen Square Clock Tower. Drive on Pleasant Street for about a mile and then turn right onto Pleasant View Street. The address of the Timony School is 45 Pleasant View Street but you should park your car at the Football Stadium immediately before the school.

HINT: YOU SHOULD NOT SEARCH FOR THIS LETTERBOX DURING SCHOOL HOURS BECAUSE IT IS ON SCHOOL PROPERTY.

Clues: When you get out of your car look towards the stands,
That are usually full of Methuen fans.
After that, look to your right,
I suggest you go when it is light
Walk to the corner of the Chain Link Fence,
A pavement path is there about to commence.
On your left you’ll see the Field Goal Post on the field,
Up ahead the path will yield.
You will see some woods on your right,
If you feel you’re close to the treasure, perhaps it’s in sight.
There are two large rocks,
Walk around to the far side and you may find the box.

HISTORY:
I hid my letterbox at the Donald P. Timony Grammar School in Methuen Massachusetts. The address is 45 Pleasant View Street. The school teaches children form Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. It used to be called the Timony Middle School and before that it was called the East Middle School but the town has changed it now. Donald P. Timony was a former Principal at the school and that is why the school is now named after him.
The City of Methuen was incorporated in 1726. It was always called the Town of Methuen until a little while ago when the Towns people decided that they wanted to change it to a city. A long time ago there were three rich families in Methuen. The Searle’s, the Nevins, and the Tenneys. When you drive around certain parts of the city you will see old rock walls that look like they were part of a castle. The Searle’s family built all of those walls a long time ago. There is another school in Methuen called The Tenney Middle School. It was named after the Tenney family from the old days.
The Timony Middle School is right next to Methuen High School. The High School is only about 300 feet from the Timony and there is a path through the woods that connect the two. I am hiding my box at this school because I went to school in Methuen until I moved to -----. There is a piece of woods with a path of pavement near where I hid my box and I think this will be a good spot.
