This letterbox can be found at the Edith Moore Sanctuary, which is part of the Houston Audubon Society.
Directions:
From I10, go south on Sam Houston Pkwy (Beltway 8) Frontage Road for about 1 mile, then turn right (west) on Memorial Drive. Go about 1/2 mile and turn left on Wilchester Blvd. Go about 1/10 mile and turn left into the Edith Moore Sanctuary and park by the cabin.
To Find the Box:
You must wonder why I’m wearing my Sunday’s Best. I just think the purple hat goes well with the red outfit. I flew away from church services for a little R & R and landed on the two benches just inside the Church Gate Entrance. I was looking for a snack, so I spied a crumbly stump right behind the benches and figured I’d find something in there. You know what they say about the early bird. I heard someone coming, so I hid under some of the large pieces of stump debris that I found lying about. I sure hope it doesn’t mess up my clothes; they’re my Sunday’s Best.
