Whether sand or slides or swings you like,
You’ll find them here at this place to play.
So hop in your car or onto your bike,
Pack a lunch and a port-a-potty if you plan to stay!

There’s a street in Grandview named for great joy,
It winds all around so listen closely to this…
Start where it hits Rt. 23 and you’re ready to deploy.
There’s a hidden park back there that’s easy to miss!

Head North-East into the grand neighborhood,
When you get to the Y, keep to the right.
You’ll see trees on your right, or at least you should,
On the left there’s houses, and ahead the park is in sight.

If you like Michael Jordan, park near his “court”,
If you don’t, just pretend and park there anyway.
You’re close now, your journey on foot is short,
Unless of course you take a break now to play.

Past the swings and the tall slide is a small little creek,
You’re on the wrong side of it, so now what to do?
Build a raft? Jump real far? Or maybe the outcome is bleak?
Alas, just ahead is a green bridge just for you!

Cross the bridge, and stop right there.
To your right is a playground of Red, White, and Blue.
But the prize that you seek is not hidden there.
So here comes the most important of clues!

If you look around, you’ll see a remembrance of sorts,
A mini little heavenly being who marks a special spot.
She’s easy to miss as she is extraordinarily short!
Head towards her and you’re getting really hot!

There’s a bench nearby that you should sit down awhile,
And take a quick breather ‘cause we’re nearing the end.
If you’re a mom you’re a pro at this next little trial…
Pretend you have eyes in the back of your head.

If you did you’d see a bush that really has Christmas spirit,
And there’s a bunch of rocks underneath in a little pile.
So look under the bush (careful – there’s pricklies on it!)
Did you find it? I hope your treasure makes you smile!
