Taphophile: One who loves cemeteries and graveyards.
From I35E take the Post Oak/Shady Shores exit, turn east. At the four way stop turn right. Keep to the left at the “Y”. You will pass a fire station on the right and a storage place, directly across from the storage place is the cemetery, turn left onto Swisher Rd. Park at the covered area with benches.
From the covered area, walk 15 paces to the west, to the grave of a 6 yo boy named Seaver Sewell. Turn to the north and walk approx 32 paces. Look for the flat gravestone of Mary Ella Powell. Directly behind the stone you will find a grouping of small trees appearing as one. The box is hidden amongst their trunks.
Please respect the graves and the cemetery, go only during daylight hours. And please replace box as found!
Appx 1.4 miles further down Shady Shores, you will find another box at the Eason-Gray Cemetery!
