Make your way to the Martyrs Park on Channel 3 Drive, overlooking the Mississippi River. This park is a Memorial to those that died from Yellow Fever. The park is attached to the Tom Lee Park by a paved path, you can walk or bike on.
Park in the circular driveway. Walk toward the unique Martyrs Statue. Turn left at the statue. Walk to the first bench on your left. Facing the MS River, in front of you is a huge tree.
Be careful you don't topple down the hill getting this box. You will see a big obvious hole in the front roots of the tree. The box isn't there. Go to the right, downhill side of the tree, you will see a smaller indentation in the roots of the tree. The box is pushed down in a small hole, covered by dirt and debris.
