Getting there….
The box is located at Wabasis Lake Park, which is between Greenville and Rockford. The address is; 11220 Springhill Drive, Greenville, MI 48838.
From Rockford; take 10-Mile Rd east until it intersects with Wabasis Ave. Turn left, and the park will be on your right in a little over one mile.
From Greenville; take M-57/ 14-Mile Rd west until Wabasis Ave. Turn left, go about three miles until you see the park on your left.

Clues…
As you pull into the park, turn right and follow the drive to the parking lot. Look to the west end of the parking lot, the trail begins just beyond the restroom. Follow this well defined trail through the woods until you reach the #1 campsite the park has to offer. Here the trail T’s; follow it to the right. Soon you’ll reach a driveway that runs through the modern campsites. Follow this drive to the left toward the dumpsters. You should be able to see Lake Wabasis from here, so head toward it and hop on the Chief Wabasis Nature Trail. After a short walk, you’ll come to a bench looking across the marsh. A little further you’ll find a foot bridge and a large building. The other side of this building overlooks a very popular sledding hill, as well as the entrance to the park. From this vantage point follow the tree line to your right along the base of the hill. In a moment you’ll see an orange blaze on a tree, keep following the edge of the woods until you see a narrow trail heading over a foot bridge into the woods. Follow this trail a short distance to a stone bridge and a gazebo filled with wishing wells. Go on in and take a look around. This is a fairly busy area, so make sure nobody is looking your way. As you enter the structure, the box can be found just past Twelve O’clock in the mouth of the joyous rock face.
After you’ve logged in, please re-hide the box carefully. For a great view of the area you just hiked; head uphill on the driveway leading to the sledding hill. At the top of this short walk you’ll find a gated trail leading off to the right. Follow this to the Lake Wabasis Lookout point. To get back to your car, follow the driveway back to the top of the sledding hill, and on to the parking lot you started from.
