As an extension of the beloved Indigo Vulture State Game Lands Letterbox Series, We (Pink Panther and Black Swan) will be following his format in developing our contribution to this great series of boxes in surprisingly beautiful places.
Direct Plagiarization of Vulture-Speak: This is one in a series of boxes planted in the state game lands of northeastern Pennsylvania. If you seek this box, please be aware of hunting seasons. I recommend wearing blaze orange any time of year. I don't recommend seeking this box during deer or turkey season, except on Sundays.
State Game Lands 46 is located in Lancaster County. It is also know locally as M iddle C reek W ildlife M angament A rea. Park in the lot off Mountain Spring Road. This is one of our favorite hiking areas. Do your homework, more fun is hidden there.

Clues:
• From the parking area, follow a gravel road at to Middle Creek Trail.
• Follow Middle Creek Trail to the Horseshoe Trail (yellow blazes).
• Go left up Horseshoe Trail and up the never ending hill.
• From the junction of Horseshoe Trail and Valley View, take 14 steps down Valley View Trail to the tree with the sign “Hiking Trail Only”.
• From the sign “Hiking Trail Only” – 70* to a rough barked tree near a depression.
• Under a SPOR at the tree.
• Please rehide well.
