Make your way to Perry Hill Rd in Ashford. Parking will be across the street from where you should start your journey. So head NE on the blue trail . Very soon you will see a very interesting container taped to the tree. This is on the right side of the trail . It is a logbook for the Nipmuck Trail .
Pass through a stonewall and then pass thru a boulder section . Follow the blue trail and you will see boulders again on your right side looking down the cliff .
Next you will find a Wolf Tree on your right . This tree has many rocks around it . Walk down to the tree and investigate amongest the rocks. The total trip is less than a mile round trip.
