The Wintersmith Park Historic District, known locally as Wintersmith Park is located at east 18th Street and Scenic Drive in Ada, Oklahoma. The area is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. From South Mississippi Street Take 18th street heading east. Turn right onto Wintersmith Drive and drive south, you are on the west side of the lake. Turn left on the first paved road and drive to the softball field parking lot where you park against the tree line where the old pipe railing marks an entrance by a cement path that descends past a wall of roots to an area of old tall trees that provide a high canopy. You can now see the old amphitheater which has recently been restored for use. As you walk the cement path toward the foot-bridge you will come to lamp post 28, stop, turn right and step off 42 paces. You should stop at a triangle rock that will be on your right. Look ahead, right to left, 4 big rocks with a crack between 3 and 4, the treasure awaits.
