In the downtown Norfolk neighborhood of West Ghent off of Hampton Boulevard, you will find the entrance to the Elizabeth River Trail
diagonally across from the Little Theater of Norfolk. It is to the right beside the ramp entrance that brings you over the tunnel traffic. Enter the trail, and follow it. You will come upon a metro machine on the left. Keep going and you will find an beatiful inlet of water surrounded by rocks with two black benches across the path. If you go a little farther you will see the road on the right. Take the road and then take the right fork and go all the way up. Straight across from The American Flag, look in the rocks and you will find the River Box!!
