Don't worry. No peregrines were harmed in the making of this letterbox, which is not located near the well-known nesting sites. In Coatius, head down the eastern face of the mountain toward the brook. This hill can be quite slippery to descend after a rain. At the appropriate right turn, you will see a barkless tree to your left and the trail will pass between two boulders to your right. If you see a natural wall about 20 feet high to your right, you have gone too far. From the correct turn, go left about 10 to 15 feet off trail. Under a rock overhang beneath birch.
