I never met Goose Chaser personally, however, I feel that I’ve learned a lot from her. She was a true pioneer on letterboxing in the Quad City area, her carvings exceptional. She was artistic, creative and informational.

Goose Chaser, was selfless with her time, abilities and just being there for others. She loved the outdoors, and was always up for an adventure. Goose Chaser was a wonderful and fun woman to be around.

This box is to honor her, with a beautiful setting and some adventure to boot.

From Devils Glenn Park walk down to the bike path and follow the creek towards the Mississippi.

You will come to a bridge over a smaller tributary, take the foot path to the left down towards the smaller stream.

Climb up three tiers of rocks (up stream), at the crest of the third tier look across the stream. Above a large rock is a small tree with a couple of smaller rocks at the base holding the box in place.

**WARNING **WARNING **WARNING **WARNING **WARNING **WARNING**

The rocks you have to climb are wet and can be slippery. Also, when I planted the box yesterday there were fallen leaves congregated making it more slippery. PLEASE mind your steps and be careful. The large rock you have to step on to actually retrieve the box is at a steep angle and can be slippery.

Again PLEASE mind your steps!
