Capt. Charlie Swan Was a lighthouse keeper on Bald Head Island from 1903 to 1933. In 1911 he built a "mainland" home for his family. Find this home and find the letterbox. It is in the "city" limits. It is on a street that when using the correct postal address has a double name. It is only one block from the water...by the way the crow flies. Once you find his home do not enter the property. Instead, stand on the sidewalk facing the front steps and looking to the west find the "chain" that will "link" this together. Hint: You will love the blossoms in the spring.
