I've been to Jamaica 4 times. All 4 times were spent serving the Lord on missions trips.

I've helped with many projects, and met lots of people. I never feel so close to God as when I'm serving.

Every trip I've been on, I've come home having learned something . . . how can you not?

Either way, the first trip I made to the Emerald Island in 1993, we poured some cement. In the corner of the wet cement one of our leaders wrote our Team name. The skies opened up and the rain threatened to wash all the cement away.

It only rained (down poured) for a couple of minutes then stopped. Our leader again wrote the name of our group and again the skies opened up.

He turned around and said, "I'm not writing our name again, we are doing this for God's glory and not our own."

This moment settled down into my heart and I remember it often, this is for God's glory and not my own.

So when thinking up a stamp name/image it was a no brainer.

Flash forward 15 years from that trip.

I had printed clues to two boxes in Ocho Rios, and had my box all ready to go. I was down to my last few dollars and taxi's would have cost $8 per person to drive to Shaw Park Gardens, best I could tell it was just shy of a mile -- I'll just walk.

A buddy of mine came with me for our little adventure. We found box #1 and off we went up the hill.

We walked through a beautiful neighborhood, with marvelous vegetation everywhere.

Once at the top of the road we came to Shaw Park Garden. I am SO glad that we had enough to get in and after another little bit for a bottle of water we were both left with $0. We had no more money!

The gardens and waterfall was most impressive, I recommend all come and see for yourselves - its worth the cost!

We had a guided tour, and I planted my box (discreetly, without the tour guide seeing) and after the tour found the other box in the park.

Here is a link to the park; http://www.shawparkgardens.com/

CLUES;

Once at Shaw Park Gardens you will probably go on a tour. My friend and I were the only 2 on our tour and it was easy to slip off and hide this box. Hopefully its not a busy day there when you go to visit. I would wait out the tour and then ask if you could walk around the gardens again on your own.

There is one giant banion tree inside with two "benches" one natural and the other man made. The natural bench in the tree is on the back side. If you "sit" on the bench, the box would be about center between your feet.

PLEASE re-hide very well. Thanks, enjoy and give God the Glory.
