Morning Stars Present "Mobile Home"

This letterbox is on the Rail Trail, on the Nashua/Hollis line. This is a great place for bikes!

To get to this section of the Rail Trail, drive to the route 111A trail head. There will be parking on the side of the road, and on a nice day, it will be bustling with bikes and pedestrians. Cross 111A and walk on the paved trail past the new housing development. Keep walking until you reach the parking lot on the right hand side (yes, you could have parked here, but you would have missed a nice walk!) Past the parking lot is a little pond, dubbed the Rail Trail Frog Pond by the Morning Stars (we don't know its real name). Take a little time to walk around this pond, counter clockwise. It's filled with very friendly green sunfish, and if it's warm enough, they'll swim to the edge to say hi. We've also seen many reptiles here, and once or twice a duck. At the far end of the pond, on your right side, there's a trail that goes into the woods. Walk between 30-35 steps (depending on how tall you are). On your left, you should be able to see a multi-trunked tree about 20' off the trail. Behind it stands a large white pine. Behind the multi-trunked tree you'll find someone in a mobile home.

The Turtle
The turtle can't go out to play,
Or sell his house or rent it;
For when he moves,
His house moves too
And nothing can prevent it.
