Directions to Peachtree Rock: From Columbia, take S.C. Hwy. 215 (302/Edmund Hwy.) south past the airport toward Edmund. Veer left on S.C. 6 towards Swansea. Continue one-half mile, crossing railroad overpass. Follow signs to Bethel United Methodist Church on Peachtree Rock Road, on left just off S.C. 6.

Follow the blue trail past the Rock to the water fall. Follow the path to the right (facing the falls) that parallels the rocky shelf. A young tree has grown parallel to the ground along a rock before gong skyward. Between this rock and the wall is the Peachtree Rock letterbox.

Make your way to Little Peachtree Rock. At the rock, with Jakayla’s handiwork behind you, look uphill to a burnt tree and a burnt rock. The Little Peachtree rock letterbox is there.

Both of these stamps are carved on more than one surface. It’s a good idea to hold them with a piece of paper, or napkin or something so you don’t get all inky. Be sure you press hard on the base end of Little Peachtree.
