From exit 20 off Route 93 about 3 miles.

Go past McDonald's and Burger King, continue on and take the first right. Take a 2nd right onto Fiske Road. You will come to a 4 way intersection, go straight, go past the pond and take the next right to the parking area on the right.

a. From the parking lot take the Pine Oak Trail, (yellow crosses on the trees). 5 minute walk to a 4 way intersection. Take the left trail (sapling trail with purple diamond shaped tree markings). 3 minute walk to the next intersection. Take a left onto Knowles trail (orange markings). Log seat on corner and 3 minute walk to a large 3 foot high dead tree stump on your left before next intersection. BOX is in trunk which is 6 steps from trail.

b. Stay on Knowles Trail (orange markings). Soon you'll see a paved road which is 3/10's of a mile from where you left your car. You are also at the beginning of the Rand Road Trail. You don't think I'd have you walk here without leaving a BOX do you? Beginning of Rand Road Trail, see 3 trees growing together near a large rock. The box is there in the crotch. Rand Road Trail has red tree markings.

c. Next is Hemlock Trail. (green markings). walk 5 minutes and see ledges on your left of trail. Look to your right and see a long, long 29" circumference black water pipe held up by rocks. take 30 steps to it. thre are 2 big spruce trees growing from the same root and 2 big rocks holding up the pipe - the box is there on the rock.

d. You'll soon see the pond and the trail goes down hill and then up again. 15 min walk to ledges on your right off the trail. walk to the old big rotten stump, box is at the base. Arrow made of sticks nearby points to the box.

e. Go back to the trail and continue on and take the left a tthe next sign onto Chestnut Trail (brown markings). Walk 5 minutes and see a path on your left that goes to the water. Nice place to look for the loons. Walk 5 minutes and you'll come to 3 white birch trees (someone peeled the bark off about 10") the box is on the grown behind the trees near the roots.

At the next intersection go straight to the parking lot it is Pine Oak Trail (yellow X's) Have fun and enjoy!.
