Drive from Rt. 216 to Bankert Road until the road takes a significant turn to the left. Park in the parking lot facing the picnic table.

Walk torward the gate on your left. It has a brown and white trail marker next to it.

Walk down the trail, until it Ts. Turn left.

When the trail comes to a crossroads, turn right, into a dilapitated orchard.

Once in the orchard, turn right, until the trail Ts again. Turn left, keeping the orchard on your left.

Just after the trail turns left again, look into the shrubbery on your right. You may notice an old bench hidden in the bushes. Stop for a moment and ponder what the bench could have been used for, then continue down the path.

Eventually, the trail will narrow, with a large juniper bush on your left, (notice the small blue berries).

There will then be a well-defined bike path in front of you. Do NOT go on this path. Instead cross over it, remaining straight. You will veer a teeny bit to the left.

After continuing a bit on this trail, you may notice a boggy area on the left. Continue down this trail, until it comes to a T once again. Turn right. You will pass a 4-trunked tree on your right after a short distance, shortly followed by a 9-foot-tall tree stump with peeling bark.

When the trail comes to a Y, turn onto the right fork. At the next Y, turn left.

After turning onto the second Y, count approximately 50 steps. This should put you in front of a #1 trail marker on the right. Turn down the trail that the marker... marks.

Once you turn onto the trail, start counting once again. After 60 steps, you will find where the Galloping Gourmet has stopped to take a short rest. (he's stopped in a tree stump).
