Arbor Crest Grounds & Tasting Room
Noon-5:00PM Daily
ALL VISITORS MUST BE 21
THE PROPERTY IS UNSAFE AND NOT APPROPRIATE FOR MINORS
In 1924 Royal Riblet built his cliff-top estate on a terrace of volcanic rock high above the Spokane River. Riblet, a mechanical wizard, became a local legend for his many and diverse inventions. In 1927 he installed a 5-passenger tram that carried visitors across the river and 1800 feet through the air to a terminal above. Fishing from the tram was a popular sport! Pick up a brochure in the Tasting Room to learn more about the fascinating Riblet family and this extraordinary location.
Arbor Crest Wine Cellars purchased this National Historic Landmark in 1985. Today they welcome over 60,000 visitors a year to their tasting room and grounds. Enjoy their spectacular views and wines!
Clues: From I-90, exit at Argonne Road, head north. Turn east on Upriver Drive, then at 1.1 miles, turn north on Fruithill Road. Enter the gates at .8 miles.
And now to the box:
