“Twin Bridges Park” on Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack.
Park in lot near BIG boulder.
Go down that trail being careful, it is gravel and a bit steep.
At bottom you will see a picnic area on left, pass through staying left
and follow down the hill. Enjoy the brook on your left along the way.
At next intersection stay straight. If you go right you will end up at the
playground. Now while this may be fun you won't find what you are looking for!
You will come to a 4-way intersection next. See the stone bridge on the
left? Cross over, taking a moment to close your eyes and listen to the
water rushing over the rocks. Look how smooth some of the rocks are
from years of rushing water.
OK onward! Up over the rise you will see a rust colored bridge in front of
you and a grand boulder on the left side of the trail. STOP at the boulder.
Look up past the boulder at the trees like you are “reading” and you will
see 1 tall tree, 1 small pine tree and then 2 tall trees clustered together.
Go to the base of the single tree and find your prize!
Be sure to rehide well!
Hope you had a great time, and tell your friends about letterboxing.org
