It’s an uphill roll
Is Gravity Hill a magnetic reaction associated with a nearby church or Indian burial grounds? Is it connected to the legendary disappearance of Happy Mac from Herring Lake or does it involve unknown forces working along mysterious lines? Perhaps it is an optical illusion.
Take Highway M22 north from Arcadia and turn right on Joyfield Road. Drive a few miles east until you come to Blaine Church at Putney Road. Turn right and drive about a quarter-mile past the church.
WARNING: You are on a public road. Obey all traffic signs and rules. Where there are hills there are blind spots. Always bring someone to watch for other traffic. Never try the hill when the road is wet and slippery or during inclement winter weather conditions.
Stop the car, put it in neutral, take your foot off the brake and watch yourself roll uphill towards the church. It will work going forward or backward, better or worse depending on your starting location.
You will find your letterbox at the rear of church, under the 10th pine tree from the road.
