Five Finger Point is part of the Armstrong Natural Area owned by UNH, and the land surrounding this conservation area is private. The trail is connected to the trails associated with the Rattlesnakes.
Total hike is 2.7 miles. Pack a lunch and plan to spend a few hours. The terrain to get there is up and down but worth the effort.

Directions:
The trailhead is on Pinehurst Road, 0.9 miles from NH 113 between Holderness and Sandwich. Limited parking is available on the right just after Rockywold-Deephaven and just before the Private section of Pinehurst Road begins at the stone gate.

The Trailhead is a driveway on the left, 100 yards beyond the gate. The trail turns right and passes the Pinehurst Farm buildings.
Watch for the sign--
Your feet are welcome
But cars are not.
For trail use,
Please park outside
Pinehurst Gate.

There is a trail sign pointing the way for East and West Rattlesnake, Ramsey and Five Finger Point. At 0.2 miles follow Five Finger Point and East Rattlesnake to the right. You want to stay with the yellow blaze Five Finger Point Trail.

Clue:

At the first intersection, after crossing the brook, stay right.
Find and pass the 3 finger tree with the yellow blaze in the middle of the trail.
Watch on the left for a GREAT “potential tree house" tree.
Go through a stonewall and STOP.
Turn left 20-23 steps.
Look low in the wall just before the spikey pine for what you seek.

Please continue on to enjoy Five Finger Point. Once you reach the loop, there are many nice viewpoints and picnic spots. Travel every path and you will find the “jumping rock.” You will have to return the way you have come to get back to your car.
