As of May 11, 2004, this box is alive and well.
As of August 16, 2004, this box is in hiding. It might still be there, but if it is, it is pushed way underneath the rock, out of grabbing range.
This box is at Stoll Park, on 119th St, between Quivira and Pflumm.
Park somewhere (there are several lots to choose from), and walk towards the lake. There is a path that circles the lake. Follow this until you get to the west side of the lake. There, you will find a man-made circular grassy area that is lined with rocks. Standing in the circular area, turn north and follow the rock wall to where it meets the paved trail. The box is beneath the first rock facing the trail. Approach from the back of the rock and look into a crevice which extends beneath it. A bush provides some cover during the leafy season, but take care not to hurt the plantlife.
We recommend all the normal precautions for sticking your hand into somewhere that you can't see....poking a stick around, etc.
This is a very public place, so please be discrete when looking for the box. Also, there is a lot of wildlife around...remember that you are a guest in their home.
