Clues

This letterbox was actually made and planted by Forest Faerie. It is a foam stamp made with a bent paper clip and a candle and glued to a block of wood. It is planted at the Quinnipiac River Trail in Meriden. This is a great trail for wheels of any kind. Just be careful, some sections are very close to the river and have no fencing.

From the Red Bridge: Enjoy the beautiful peaceful surroundings (and maybe even other letterboxes) on your walk until you come to the 3/4 mile sign. Look up the hill while enjoying the stroll and on your right you may see a big gathering of 5 trees on the side of the hill with dead bottom branches reaching out to greet you. Keep going. You will then see the back of the ½ mile marker (on the left). Almost directly across (on the right) you will see a section where rain water flows down. At the bottom right near the trail you will see a tree. Be very careful. Faeries shouldn’t show themselves when there are OTHERS around. She may be hiding under the brownish red rock . Please go to the nearby bench(up on the left) to enjoy her company and please rehide her well.
