This box is located in the Veterans Memorial Park, in West Jordan. This is a very special place to us as this is where we got engaged. To celebrate that, as well as to honor those men and women who have served our country so unselfishly, we decided to place a letterbox here.
Veterans Memorial Park (also known as West Jordan Park to some) is located around 1995 West and 7800 South. The best way to enter is from 7800 South. Turn onto Veterans Memorial Parkway (1995 West).
Once you are in the park: find where Veterans Memorial Parkway (1995 W) meets up with Veterans Memorial Parkway. At that intersection you will find the Military Services Monument (there will be a United States flag directly in front of you). Turn left and take the first path to your right. Enjoy the wisdom of George Washington as you walk towards John F. Kennedy’s wisdom. You will find Kennedy’s wisdom on a rock in between and across from the Navy and Merchant Marines. Locate the smallest rock around this quote (hint: it’s just in front and to the left of it). Under this rock you will find the letterbox. Please remember to rehide it well, and be discreet as this has the potential to be a very busy area.
