The Feather has fallen at the Blue Rock State Forest's Fire Tower.
You can reach the Fire Tower by turning left onto Cutler Lake Rd. off of St. Rt. 60 South. You will follow Cutler Lake Rd. out about 4 miles, until you reach Ridgeview Rd. There you will see signs posted for the Blue Rock Fire Tower. Turn onto Ridgeview Rd. go about a mile, you will drive up a twisty hill, the entrance is at the top of the hill on the right.
Pull into the parking lot at the Fire Tower and park. Start at the old concrete water pump. Stand on the north side. Take a compass reading of 50 degrees. Go pass the communication station to the no camping sign. Look to the left of the sign to a group of three trees, at the base you will find the fallen feather.
Check out Ranger Smith who is also located here at the Fire Tower.
