------This box was trashed...we've picked it up and will hopefully have it replaced soon!!!!-------

During the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics the athletes stayed at the student housing located at Fort Douglas. A favorite place to visit and relax may just have been the Chapel Glen area.

If driving:
Park and locate the Post Chapel upon the grounds of Fort Douglas. Standing at the bottom of wheelchair ramp, walk West to the end of the sidewalk. Continue 8 steps West and turn South. Walk through the small break in the bushes until you locate the 2 small rock walls at the top of the hill. On the lower wall locate to your left a tree and bush. In between the branches of the bush located at the bottom, you'll find our Olympic symbol!

From TRAX:
Ride TRAX to the Fort Douglas stop and head East across the large bridge. Once you've crossed the bridge continue along the path towards the Post Chapel. Along the way, you'll find a large set of stairs leading down into the Chapel Glen (the stairs are labeled).

Once in the Glen locate the large break on the North slope between ivy patches. Walk up the hill to the top where you'll find two small stone walls. On your right locate the bottom of the two walls, they'll be a tree and a bush. In between the branches of the bush located at the bottom, you'll find our Olympic symbol!
