1/17/12 Just adopted these boxes from the original owner Rubaduc.

There are two log books for the series in first and the final box.

Don't forget clues to The Hunters.

Directions:
Head down route 16 towards Colchester from the intersection with route 207 for ~1.5 miles. There you will find a green gate on your left near the road. Parking here is a bit tough and you may want to park about .1 mile before this at the Bartlett Brook Wildlife Management area. This is also on the left. Travel down the dirt entrance and park near the signboard. This will add ~ .2 mile to your journey on foot.

Clues:
After encountering a crafty Fox, go back to the main trail and go right (hurry, the Fox might be right behind you) Go through a stonewall. Before walking through another stonewall, turn right, walk 9 steps and look under a rock at the base of a skinny tree (s?). Move only one rock (not in the wall) to discover a Hen cowering beneath. There might be a Fox in the HEN house but he won’t catch me.

Leaving the Cat’s house, continue straight, passing through a possible muddy area, going uphill and coming to an intersection. On the left corner is a giant wolf tree with a Mouse hiding behind under rotting wood . Cat can’t find me here.

Pass quietly by the Lion’s den, turn left after Ma Bell’s pole, pass a couple of wolf trees. At the Y go left, you’ll see some houses through the trees on the right. Watch on the left for what Gizz calls a leaning three brother tree (I think it looks more phoenix-like). Look in the back base under a flat rock for an Antelope not intending to be anyone’s lunch.

If you can fly safely past the Spider’s web, continue downhill, see water on the right and as the trail levels out, pass through a stonewall. Turn right and walk about 30 steps along a small trail along the wall. If you’re not a spider, you might find a Fly hiding under a flat rock behind a three sister tree with much yellow. Not on the wall.

Avoid the Anteater’s nasty tongue (and the left turn) staying straight for a bit until the Y, take this left and watch for a large downed tree on the left, possibly loaded with ants but to get the Ants that you want, look right for a smaller version of this tree (perpendicular to the trail). Looking in the root system might net you a colony.

Thanks for coming out to play today.
