Go to Mendon Ponds nature center. Follow the signs for the Swamp/Bird Song trail. Find the bird display center and then continue straight on the trail until you come to David’s Nature Trail. Find the sign with a frog by the bog. Then turn left and walk along the trail. You’ll know that you’re on the right trail when you see a bluejay’s house in decay. Keep going until you cross a bridge. Look for a wooden step off of the trail. Then follow it up and over a log until you find a tree with a hole on the right side. Now look in and around and you will find a letterbox safe and sound. To get back on to the trail go back the way you came.
