Pterodactyl!
**Sadly I have recently heard that the box was found in shambles, with no stamp to be found. I am out of the Ludington area for now, so it will be unavailable until I can get back to the park. Enjoy the hike- it's a wonderful view!**
Head out towards the State Park on M-116, but before you reach the first curve, take a right on Piney Ridge Road. When you reach Ferwerda's Peaceful Acres Resort on the right, pull into the sandy lot on the left.
Dogs must be leashed. 15 Minutes, longer for leisure.
Start on the trail and follow it towards the water.
Take a right and start climbing the big dune!
About half-way up there is a trail to the right.
For a less strenuous hike, take this one to the top.
Otherwise, boldly climb the dune.
Once at the top notice the trees that have fallen towards the water.
The one on the right holds Pterodactyl!
