After finding the Invasive Species, continue the up and down trend until you finally reach a nice view of the neighborhood below. Walk along until you see three swimming pools in a row to the left of a side street below you (the trail here is ledgy and flat. It continues to be flat for a bit after the box also). Every time I'm hiking up here in the heat of summer, these pools look very inviting.
Just a few feet more and you'll see an opening in the trees on the right (you might see a faded blue blaze on the trail too). Carefully cross the moss covered ledge, turn right and look in the roots of a curving trunk cedar (I've been told that this tree is leaning, not curving).
Recover completely.
