BLUEBERRIES ARE HERE EARLY THIS YEAR AND OUR STAND IS ALMOST DONE ALREADY.
HOWEVER, I WILL KEEP THIS BOX UP UNTIL THE END OF AUGUST.
DIRECTIONS-
∑ From Bar Harbor:
Take Route 3 off MDI.
Right onto Jordan River Road (Rt.204).
∑From Ellsworth:
Take Route 1 East. Take Rt.184 (the first right shortly after the Home Depot/car dealerships)[you will see signs for Lamoine State Park-head towards that way]
At the Lamoine General Store, turn right onto Douglas Highway (Rt. 184). [or keep going straight past the store if you came via Rt1]
∑ Follow for 1.5 miles, until road makes a very sharp turn to the left.
∑ Turn onto Shore Road in the middle of this sharp turn.
∑ Follow Shore Road for 0.1 miles.
∑ Bear Point Way (a dirt road) will be on your right.
CLUES-
Park on Shore Road, at the beginning of Bear Point Way. You will see a stump behind the mailboxes and street sign, starting to be overgrown by the apple tree. The letterbox is hidden behind the stump- between the stump and apple tree.
While here, I hope you get some Maine Wild Blues!
