This letterbox is planted in the Ludington State Park on M-116 in Ludington, Michigan. There is a fee to get into the park. You can get to the starting trail number from many different spots in the park, especially if you'd like a longer walk. If you'd like a shorter walk, go into the park and drive all the way down to Hamlin Lake, park in the north lot.
Stegosaurus! Starts at trail marker 14.
Follow the Island Trail.
Welcome to trail marker 12.
Take a right onto the Island Trail.
To your left: Lost Lake. To your right: Hamlin Lake.
Keep on the Island trail.
Take a seat on the bench.
After a breather, take the little trail on the right.
Hop over the water barrier on the right.
Face looking East next to the rooty hole.
The tree directly in front of you holds the secret.
Reach to the bottom-right of the trunk.
You've found Stegosaurus!
