From Carmel, take Hwy 1 South. In the beautiful 25 miles, you'll pass a lighthouse, the Bixby Bridge, and Andrew Molera State Park. When you pass the River Inn on your right, you are almost there. About 2 blocks past the River Inn, you will see a large sign saying "Big Sur Campgrounds" on the right. Park next to the big log. The box is behind the log on the right, under some leaves and other debris.
