Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings State Historic Park is an enchanted place. I loved peeking in the windows of her closet and seeing all the 1930s farm dresses and lingerie and aprons hanging there. I like to imagine all the chat that went on on the porches, shelling peas.

Go to the Tenant House, and look around the north side. The house is up on brick piers. Look around the backside of the middle pier. It's dry and leafy; you might want to reach around there with a stick if your spooked by dark places you can't see.
You can sit on the porch, where women shelled peas, and stamp in.

Be sure to be sneaky, sly, surreptitious.
Replace the box so it's invisible to the casual eye.
Please let me know how the box is doing; I live in Arizona and won't be able to check on it.
