I live in Georgia, and I have thought about doing a "Road to Disney" collection for a while now. I saw someone post something about that in a message board recently, and I decided to go ahead and do it! I-75 seems to go on forever when traveling to Disney World, so I thought I'd add a few Disney themed letterboxes to help break up the trip for people. This is the first stamp I have carved for the series. They will be in no particular order as they are added.......I just happened to be going to Perry today, (right on I-75) so that's where I started!

The Perry Area Welcome Center is conveniently located at Exit 135 in Perry, Georgia off of Interstate 75. Look for us under the big “Welcome to Perry” billboard near the west entrance of the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter. Our address is 101 General Courtney Hodges Blvd.

From the North:
Take Exit 135. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Travel to the first traffic light and turn right. Travel about a 1⁄4 mile and the welcome center will be located on your right just past the Red Carpet Inn.

From the South:
Take Exit 135. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp. Travel to the first traffic light and turn right. Travel about a 1⁄4 mile and the welcome center will be located on your right just past the Red Carpet Inn.

Once you get to the Welcome Center.....finding the letterbox is easy! There are two really long picnic tables beside the building. As you approach from the parking lot, head to the table on your left hand side. Look under the table for a magnetic box. There are some spider webs under the table, but I cleaned out a few before placing the box. The bars under the table are black, and the box is stuck to one of them.

Go inside and get some free coffee if you have time. The restrooms are also really clean - so it's a welcome change from convenience store restrooms! I think they even have a fenced area for dogs!
