Take State Highway 89 south from Meyers. Drive to the Luther Pass sign and park in the pullout on the right side of the highway just before the pass sign.

From the four old wood fence posts on the edge of the parking area, walk south on a paved path which soon widens into an old paved road. This is an old abandoned section of State Highway 89 which probably dates back to the 1930s. Continue past the cattle guard. Continue down hill a short distance to an old rotten tree lying partially over the old road. From the south end of this tree, go at about 160 degrees (from mag. north) for about 30 steps to a double trunked Fir Tree. From this tree, go at about 188 degrees for about 30 steps to an old fallen giant tree which has its north end against a snag. The box is under the north end of the fallen giant under some chunks of bark covered with some plant debris.

Please be sure the contents are double ziplocked when you put them back in the box (i.e. the stamp is in a ziploc, the book is in a ziploc, and the two are in the larger ziploc bag) and put all of it INSIDE the box. Please rehide the box well under the chunks of bark and cover it with some plant debris so that it can not be seen from any direction.

I will not be able to check on this box; so, please let me know if you find it, or if it needs attention or is missing: http://home.att.net/~azroadie/letterboxing.html
Before you set out, please read the waiver of responsibility and disclaimer.
Please be sure to reseal baggies and boxes carefully so that they stay dry and rehide boxes in their original location, completely hidden from view.
