Turn into Melville School on Rt. 114. Drive past the basketball court/playground and follow the road past the camp ground office. Turn right at a small sign that says hiking trail. Follow the road past a gate and park in a small lot on the right just before a log gate. Walk to the trail map sign. The trail you want to take is the yellow trail which the opening is next to the trail map sign. Follow the trail across a bridge. After the bridge continue on the trail to a fork. Go right. Go over a second bridge. Continue on the path until it curves sharply right. At the curve you can hear water below and straight ahead is a tree with a V trunk. Walk to the tree. Turn around and look for a small rock overhang. The box is under it.
