The box is in Fellenz Woods, a 162 acre nature preserve consisting of prairie, river and woods habitat. It is located east of West Bend and just south of the West Bend Airport.
Directions: From Milwaukee, take highway 45 north to West Bend. Take the Paradise Road exit and go right (east) on Paradise road. The 3rd stoplight is Main Street. Go left (north) on Main street to the 3rd stoplight. This should be Decorah Road. Go right (east) on Decorah road. Go 3.4 miles east on Decorah road. The parking lot for Fellenz woods should be on your left.
Park in the lot. Take the main trail that begins at the kiosk. Continue on the main trail until you get to the Little House on the Prairie. Go past the Little House on the Prairie, still on the main trail. Go past a bench. Past the Little House, the trail will intersect with another trail. Take the trail that goes to the left. This will take you to a clearing that is the Gathering of the Benches. In the middle of the benches is a large fallen dead tree. Look at the base of the tree near the top for the box. Please cover it up well after you have stamped up. If you get the time, let us know the condition of this box. Thanks!!
