There is a fee to enter the park. In 2008, the year-round entrance fees are $5.00/car on weekends and $2.50/car on weekdays. If you are a local resident, you may wish to purchase an annual pass.

Enter Naga-waukee Park off of Highway 83 in Delafield.

Go up the hill. Continue through the park, past Picnic Areas 4 & 5, until you come to a big parking lot. In the parking lot, go to the far SW corner. Here you will see an entrance for a trail, which is the Ice Age Trail.

Start on your way down the trail. On your right, you will see a telephone pole. Shortly on your left, you will see a wide path. Stay on the trail.

Go up the slight incline. There will be a picnic area on your left. Go down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, count approximately 70 steps to find a dirt path on your left.

Follow the path to a fallen tree that blocks the path. Go over this fallen tree and continue up the hill. On the right side, there will be a dead tree with a big branch sticking out of it.

Look in the hollow log behind this tree to BRIGHTEN your day and put a SMILE on your face!
