Our 100th plant!!!
Kelder's Farm in Kerhonkson, NY is home to not only some of the tastiest farm-fresh produce in the Rondout Valley, but it's also home to the world's largest garden gnome. At 13' 6", Gnome Chomsky has been certified by the Guiness Book of World Records.
Be sure to bring the kids along for this one--Kelder's Farm has lots to offer the family. From mini-golf to hayrides, to a petting zoo and cow-milking, you could have a terrific afternoon! http://www.kelderfarm.com/
To find the letterbox, begin at Kelder's Farm, 5755 Route 209 in Kerhonkson. Please check out their hours and seek out the letterbox during those times. The farm knows about the box, but due to the tourist population, please be stealthy!
-Go up to Gnome Chomsky and introduce yourself!
-Standing directly in front of him, walk due East for approximately 12 paces (1 paces = 2 steps) to a wooden signpost. (The signpost may or may not have something hanging from it.)
-Next to the signpost, you will find two cinder blocks.
-What you seek is down inside the cinder block, under the stone.
-Please hide the letterbox very carefully and replace the stone.
-Make sure you go inside the shoppe and seek out some tasty treats!
