The town of Kerhonkson, NY is home to many people of Ukrainian descent. This box is in honor of their rich cultural heritage.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church is one of a handful of Ukrainian churches differing in design from the traditional round shape. This church is designed to represent the Carpathian Mountains.

To find this letterbox, begin at the parking lot of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, at 211 Foordmore Road.

-Find the entrance sign that reads "Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church" and begin at the side that says "The Millennium of Christianity in Ukraine 988-1988."
-Take a reading of 290 degrees and walk 25 paces (1 pace = 2 steps) to a yellow parking barrier. (The second from the road.)
-Now, walk 10 paces at 330 degrees to a short stump surrounded by rocks.
-Finally, walk 10 paces at 280 degrees, into the woods, to the base of a large maple tree. (Watch out for any poison ivy.)
-What you seek is at the base of this maple, under rocks.
-Please cover well.
