This box can be found on the Concord to Portsmouth Rail trail. This trail can be found off of Hooksett Road in Hooksett almost directly across the street from Green's Marine. If you were coming from Hooksett you would pass the Hooksett Public Library on your right then you would pass Green's Marine on your left and the trail would be on the right.
This is a kid friendly trail. It has no incline and the trail is wide open. We played tag and red light green light as we walked, we saw several bikes, but it would be hard for a stroller or a wheel chair.
You head out onto the main trail, as you continue further into the woods you will see a pond on your left. Just after you pass the pond there is a skinny person trail also on the left. Take this trail. You will follow it pass some huge boulders, these were fun to climb on. The trail will lead you to some rocks that form a jette out into the water. Before you head out to enjoy the view and the dragon flys, there are several boulders piled together. This is where we hid the prize. Some of the kids said that the top rock looks like that state of NH, and some said it didn't. You be the judge. Good Luck!!
When we got home we found that the Mad Stamper had also been letterboxing here. We can't wait to go back and find theirs.
