Texas Sized Letterbox
Status: Alive and Well as of 06/03/03
Note: This is an orphan box. Please contact me if you are willing to maintain for me.
The Texas Sized Letterbox was placed on June 3, 2002 by Brett in Austin, TX. We used to live in Texas where we learned that everything in Texas is bigger than anywhere else. I thought why shouldn't letterboxes be the same? So when I got a business trip to Austin, I decided to plant a Texas Sized letterbox. I won't tell you how big it is since you wouldn't believe it. You'll just have to find it to see it in its splendor.
CLUES (Easy):
Starting from the Bevo letterbox trashcans go 75 steps west to a sewer cover. Go 13 steps northish up a side trail to a fence. Continue northish 6 steps, going between the fence and a rock. Step down to the side of the rock. The letterbox is hidden in a hole in the rock. At first glance you might not think the hole could hold a Texas sized letterbox, but trust me, it does.
Please email me when you find (or don't find) this box. bcostley@agalis.net
NOTE: Always take adequate precautions (such as prodding with a stick and/or wearing gloves) before reaching into dark crevasses and holes in the wild. Before you set out read the waiver of responsibility and disclaimer.
