This box is located in the June Lake area. Yes, there are several Silver Lakes in Ca. so be sure you are in June Lake area
You will need a boat/kayak unless you enjoy cold short swims. Park in the lot across the road from the resort store and RV park. While we were on the little island,one of our dogs set out for shore. It was a cold rescue!
At the South end of Silver Lake find the small island. Once there locate the concrete midget monolith. On the road side you will find the letterbox tucked behind a gnarley old stump about 2 ½ ft from the monolith.
